Excellent. Best sweet and sour pork hat I have ever tasted.

The food is outstanding... comes super hot to the table. The taste is fabulous the dim sum is amazing.

I lived in London from 2001 to 2005 and there was a distinct lack of decent authentic Chinese cuisine. I returned hoping to find something better than the Mandarin, and while I only had a couple of days in the city I managed to visit Hong Ping last evening and was very pleasantly surprised by what I found. Very pleasant dining environment which *actually* had a few Chinese-speaking people in it, only chopsticks on the table, and a menu which actually listed the items in Cantonese *and* English! We didn't order too adventurously but I noted that crab and lobster were both on the menu and that Peking Duck was also on the menu although it had to be ordered several days in advance. Our food was superb (excellent wok hay for those who understand) and the portions were extremely generous. The price was also far less than what I would have expected to pay for a similar meal in any of Edmonton / Vancouver / Toronto. Highly recommended - next time back to London I will try their dim sum!

Excellent authentic chinese food. If you're looking for Chicken balls, move along because you won't find them here. Portions are large and service is friendly and knowledgable. I'd venture to say this is the best chinese restaurant in London.
